My Thoughts: Response to "Love Worth Finding"

These 2 lines struck me and are the basis of my response to "Love Worth Finding". I don't have a title for this yet... Just scribbling down my thoughts... Just thinking out loud...

"IN ORDER TO FIND LOVE MY DARLING, WE MUST PART.

IF DESTINY PERMITS, WE WILL MEET AGAIN"

Why, in heaven’s name, do two people drift apart in the first place, if they are meant to meet again in the future?

Maybe it's meant that way...

Time and distance has something to do with it...

It plays a factor in molding us into what we need to be...

Life is a process.

We need to be with other people in order to find ourselves...

And when we finally find ourselves, only then will we realize who and what we value.

Then destiny brings us together again, same yet different people than what we used to be, for love to work better, maybe.

True love is worth finding... fighting... resolving...waiting... and going back to again.

Sadly though, true love is such a rarity...

And sometimes, discerning love from true love can be tricky...

Perhaps, that's why we need to part ways...

To go through the process of finding, fighting, resolving, waiting and going back to...

again.

Merci beaucoup for this inspiring thought Octi...

At times in life we find ourselves looking at someone and say well it is time to move on and go on..to find emptiness, solitude and reflection. True love is hard to find passionate love even harder. Yet, when such a person makes a come back..usually the fire is unextinguishable...full of joy and surprises.

Have a blessed day and keep on writing...

But if after so many tries, and after giving it your best, the relationship still wouldn't work, then I think it's wiser for both parties to pack up & hit the road. Life still has a lot to offer. What value is there to stick around for something that can't be salvaged anymore or for someone who isn't worth all your efforts after all?
